We look for a Sales Manager (Global)

Sales is an integral part of our company and the base for our fast growth. That’s why we look for a passion-driven sales manager to identify new customers and consult them on Cloudfarms’ solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support our sales team to market our cloud-based software to new customers

  • B2B-sales and lead generation of new customers, distributors, partners for our cloud-based SaaS solutions

  • Present and explain Cloudfarms products and benefits directly at customers, on telephone, online/virtually

  • Together with presales, present Cloudfarms solutions to pig farms, start them up and support them with our customer support team

  • Build up a network in the pig farming industry with key opinion leaders and associations

  • Visit fairs, events, associations and partners

  • High willingness to travel is a must as you will be in the field most of the time (of course, only if regional COVID19 rules allow)

  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity to build/adapt sales strategy and product development

  • Provide transparency into your sales pipeline through a CRM software

Desired skills and experience

  • Deep knowledge of or network in the meat/pig industry and practical knowledge from farms

  • Ideally experience in the sales of agricultural software

  • Draw from an existing network in the meat / pork supply chain (genetic companies, farm advisors/consultants, feed, pig farmers, meat processors)

  • Background or practical experience in livestock sector, pig farming, agriculture, animal nutrition, animal science or veterinary science

  • Ideally knowledge of farm technology (farm equipment, feeding systems, farm management systems,  etc.)

Soft Skills

  • Self-starter with good communications skills, good people skills, with the ability to work in a team

  • Positive attitude, solution-oriented, passionate and enthusiastic

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Structured and implementation-driven work style

  • Depending on market: speaking English or Spanish or German fluently is a MUST (Russian would be a “nice-to-have”)
